Our installation guides

Laying artificial grass on soft or hard ground requires ground preparation, as well as choosing the right accessories to secure your artificial turf to the ground. By following our expert advice explained in this technical guide, you'll be able to lay your artificial grass easily and with complete peace of mind. Most of our customers install their artificial grass themselves, so why shouldn't you ?

INSTALLATION TUTORIAL ON SOFT GROUND

Clean and prepare your soil by removing all unwanted debris and weeds. Make your soil as flat as possible, and it's sometimes advisable to use sand to level out the ground and fill in any holes. Finally, lay geotextile to prevent weeds from growing back over time. Your soil is ready !

Unroll your artificial grass from the point where you will be looking at it most. If necessary, use pre-glued seam strips to make your seams. For virtually invisible seams, trim your rolls on both sides, but we recommend you carry out a test beforehand to get an idea of the final look.

Secure your artificial grass with clamps. They should be placed every meter around the perimeter of your lawn, and you can increase the number of grapples in high-traffic areas.

To finish, brush your artificial grass in the opposite direction to the way it was laid, using a brush broom or electric brush, and enjoy your new green space !

HARD FLOOR INSTALLATION TUTORIAL

to sum up your hard floor installation

As with any soft ground, you need to clean your surface before laying artificial grass to ensure its longevity. Remove all small debris, dirt and weeds. Don't forget to check the slope of your surface to avoid water stagnation. If necessary, lightly level the surface by filling any holes.

Unroll your artificial grass, but be careful : your artificial grass strips must all be unrolled in the same direction, even around an above-ground swimming pool, for example. As with soft ground, trim your strips if necessary and test before cutting to check the final result. Glue the strips edge-to-edge, and make the joints using pre-pasted joint strips. For permanent attachment, you can also use resin.

Secure your artificial grass to your floor using fixing patches, scotch tape or knock-in pegs. If you want to fix your artificial grass permanently, apply resin all around your lawn. Allow to dry before brushing. For smaller surfaces, such as balconies, you can also secure your lawn with large flower boxes or decorations.

To finalize your installation, brush your artificial grass in the opposite direction to the blades. To maintain your artificial grass, use a blower, a low-pressure water jet or a vacuum cleaner on small surfaces. In general, brushing your artificial grass once or twice a year is enough to keep your lawn looking beautiful all year round !
